Hubungan Self – Esteem dengan Upward social comparison pada Emerging adulthood Pengguna Media Sosial di Kabupaten Bekasi

Abstract
The upward social comparison phenomenon through social media is an important issue, especially during emerging adulthood. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and upward social comparison in emerging adulthood social media users in Bekasi Regency. The method used was quantitative research subjects totaling 164 people who were selected using the quote sampling technique. The analysis in this study used the Pearson correlation test, which resulted in a significant relationship between self-esteem and upward social comparison. These findings are important to understand the psychological dynamics of emerging adulthood in the digital era, as well as the basis for interventions to maintain the health of social media users Keywords: Self-esteem, Upward Social Comparison, Social Media, Emerging Adulthood.
