GAMBARAN PEMBERIAN MAKANAN TAMBAHAN (PMT) BUBUR KACANG HIJAU DAN TELUR AYAM REBUS PADA BALITA An.H DALAM MENURUNKAN ANGKA KEJADIAN STUNTING DI WILAYAH DESA KEMBANGAN KECAMATAN BUKATEJA KABUPATEN PURBALINGGA 

Abstract

Background: In 2023, 17,8% toddlers were stunted. Stunting is conditional of the first 1.000 days of a child’s life due to chronic malnutrition that causes growth failure, this condition affects children 5 years old and becomes noticeable when a child reaches 2 years old. An alternative to improve nutrition in stunted toddlers by giving additional food mung beans porridge and boiled chicken eggs. Objective: To describe the changes in nutritional status of stunted toddlers. Method: Used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Result: After giving additional food mung beans porridge and boiled chicken eggs once a day for 30 days there was an increase in body weight by 0,5 kg and an increase in height by 1,3 cm. Conclusion: Giving additional food mung beans porridge and boiled chicken eggs has proven to improve the nutritional status of stunted toddlers.
