Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan pilar penting dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berintegritas dan berdaya saing. Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) memberikan peluang strategis bagi SMA untuk mengimplementasikan program pendidikan karakter secara efektif. Artikel ini mengkaji strategi optimalisasi penggunaan Dana BOS dalam mendukung program pendidikan karakter di tingkat SMA melalui studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan berbasis data, transparansi, akuntabilitas, serta pelibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan sekolah menjadi kunci keberhasilan. Implementasi yang tepat dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial dalam diri siswa.

Character education is an important pillar in forming a young generation with integrity and competitiveness. School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) provides a strategic opportunity for high schools to implement character education programs effectively. This article examines the strategy for optimizing the use of BOS Funds in supporting character education programs at the high school level through literature studies. The results of the study indicate that data-based planning, transparency, accountability, and involvement of all school stakeholders are the keys to success. Proper implementation can strengthen values such as discipline, responsibility, and social concern in students.
