PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH TERHADAP PENERIMAAN MATERI AGAMA SISWA DI MA 1 MUHAMMADIYAH JEMBER

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the school environment on students' acceptance of religious material at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 01 Jember. The study is based on the importance of the role of the school environment in supporting the learning process, especially in the formation of character and understanding of Islamic religious material. A conducive school environment is believed to be able to increase students' motivation, interest, and learning outcomes in receiving religious material. This study uses a quantitative approach with research subjects of class Xa and Xb students at MA Muhammadiyah 01 Jember. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques to test the validity, reliability, normality, and linearity of the data. The results of the study are expected to provide theoretical contributions in the development of Islamic religious education and practical benefits for teachers and schools in creating a better learning environment. This study also limits the scope to the influence of the physical and social environment in schools on students' acceptance of religious material, so that the results can be a reference in efforts to improve the quality of religious learning in schools.
