Abstract
Supervision can be interpreted as a structured activity involving guidance, monitoring, and evaluation, systematically carried out by the school principal—who also serves as an educational supervisor—with the primary objective of supporting the performance of teachers, educational staff, and school personnel. This ensures they can carry out their duties optimally, effectively, and purposefully to deliver quality education. In this context, the school principal, as both a supervisor and the highest leader within the school environment, focuses on enhancing teacher competence and professionalism. This study aims to thoroughly examine the role of the school principal as a supervisor. It specifically focuses on the strategies employed by the principal in implementing educational supervision at the school. The research adopts a qualitative approach, where the researcher conducts direct field observations and in-depth interviews with the school principal as the primary subject of the study.
