Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara-cara belajar di rumah yang dilakukan siswa SMA di SMAN 1 Kab. Tangerang dalam mempelajari fisika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif desain grounded theory. Informan penelitian adalah siswa dan guru fisika siswa di SMAN 1 Kab. Tangerang. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode survei, observasi, dan wawancara. Survei yang dilakukan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Observasi yang dilakukan adalah observasi partisipatif jenis partisipasi pasif. Teknik wawancara yang digunakan berjenis wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data sebelum di lapangan dilakukan terhadap data-data pendahuluan yang diperoleh. Analisis data di lapangan mencakup tiga kegiatan yang bersamaan yaitu: (1) reduksi data (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh bahwa cara-cara belajar di rumah siswa SMA di SMAN 1 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam belajar fisika ada tiga yaitu memahami konsep dasar terlebih dahulu, banyak latihan soal dan rajin bertanya. Cara belajar siswa di rumah umumnya dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir dan memahami materi, lingkungan belajar, metode belajar, motivasi dan akses terhadap sumber belajar. Lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, seperti ruang belajar yang nyaman dan tidak terganggu, dapat meningkatkan fokus dan konsentrasi. Metode belajar yang efektif, seperti belajar secara aktif dan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik, dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep fisika dengan lebih baik. Motivasi, baik internal maupun eksternal, juga memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan belajar, sedangkan sumber daya seperti buku, video, atau platform pembelajaran daring dapat membantu siswa dalam memperdalam pemahaman mereka.

Abstract


This study aims to find out the ways of learning at home done by high school students at SMAN 1 Tangerang Regency in studying physics. This research is qualitative research with grounded theory design. The research informants were students and physics teachers of high school students in SMAN 1 Kab. Tangerang. Data were collected using survey, observation, and interview methods. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire instrument. The observation conducted was participatory observation of passive participation type. The interview technique used was semi-structured interview type. Data analysis before the field was carried out on the preliminary data obtained. Data analysis in the field includes three concurrent activities, namely: (1) data reduction (2) data presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing (verification). Based on the data analysis, it was found that there are three ways of learning at home for high school students at SMAN 1 Tangerang Regency in learning physics, namely understanding basic concepts first, practicing a lot of questions and asking questions diligently. The way students’ study at home is generally influenced by students' ability to think and understand the material, learning environment, learning methods, motivation and access to learning resources. A supportive learning environment, such as a comfortable and undisturbed study room, can improve focus and concentration. Effective learning methods, such as active learning and using interesting learning media, can help students understand concepts. Motivation, both internal and external, also plays an important role in learning success, while resources such as books, videos, or online learning platforms can help students in deepening their understanding.
