MITIGASI BENCANA BANJIR BANDANG BAGI MASYARAKAT KECAMATAN TAROGONG KIDUL PASCA BANJIR BANDANG GARUT TAHUN 2016

Abstract

Disaster mitigation itself is part of the disaster management cycle which includes preparedness, emergency response, recovery and rebuilding. Disaster mitigation in Tarogong Kidul District is a post-flash flood response in Garut in 2016. The disaster mitigation carried out has implications that are felt when flash floods hit Garut Regency again in 2022, especially in Tarogong Kidul District. The author's questions are 1) Flash flood disaster mitigation in Tarogong Kidul District? 2) Implications of flash flood disaster mitigation for the people of Tarogong Kidul District? The type of data used is qualitative using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and literature studies. The historical method consisting of four stages and combined with historical theory and disaster management theory is used to answer these problems. 1) Disaster mitigation carried out in Tarogong Kidul District consists of various sectors. 2) The implications of flash flood disaster mitigation in Tarogong Kidul can be felt because the programs implemented can run.
