PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENDAFTARAN SISWA BARU SECARA ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL (STUDI KASUS MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH BAITURAHMAN)

Abstract

The development of information technology has provided an opportunity for educational institutions to streamline administrative procedures, including new student registration. This study aims to provide an online information system for new student registration based on the website at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Baiturrahman. It is expected that this system will improve the efficiency of the registration process which was previously done manually. The method used in the development of this system is called Waterfall, and consists of several steps: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and testing. The first step involves analyzing user needs, followed by system architecture and intermediate analysis. Implementation is done using PHP and MySQL as programming languages and databases. System evaluation is done to ensure that the system can operate as expected in terms of functionality. The result of this study is an online registration system that can make prospective students who want to register easier.
