  1. PLN (Persero) is an Indonesian electricity service provider. In distributing electricity, there is a transmission system. The transmission system itself functions to distribute electricity from generation as a source of electricity generation to distribution which is the consumer of electricity. In order for the transmission system to be reliable and efficient, inspections are required on both the network and the substation. The presence of anomalies in the substation is a benchmark for system reliability, for example thermovision inspection. Thermovision measurement is a measurement to detect the temperature of an object to determine the hot temperature at the connection on the switchyard component. Hot spots on the switchyard component are parameters that are always monitored. After conducting thermovision on the 70kV Indramayu 1 Line bay at the Jatibarang substation, it was discovered that there was a hotspot on the S-phase separator knife clamp (PMS) which caused the knife to heat up. If repairs are not carried out immediately, the hotspot will cause a breakdown in the bay. The contact resistance value before repair was 648.3 μΩ. After repairs, the contact resistance value became 84.4 μΩ. The research results showed that the PMS contacts were dirty and the contacts were not tight enough, causing heat.
