Abstract
Hypertension is one of the leading causes of premature death in various parts of the world. Hypertension is known as The Silent Killer because it can cause sudden death without any complaints or symptoms. Massage on the earlobe (Auriculotherapy) is a form of alternative therapy that uses stimulation at certain points on the outer ear (auricle) to help lower blood pressure in people with hypertension. The purpose of describing how the Implementation of Massage on the Earlobe (Auriculotherapy) in Lowering Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Patients at the Al-Kaahil Jember Cupping House. This research design uses a descriptive case study type, the subjects in this case study are clients with Hypertension who meet the exclusion and inclusion criteria. The focus of this case study is the Implementation of Massage on the Earlobe (Auriculotherapy), the location and time of the research at the Al-Kaahil Jember Cupping House were carried out for 3 days. The research instruments used were assessment sheets, observation sheets, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) sheets. Data collection was carried out by interview, physical examination, and document study. Based on a case study on Mrs. S conducted for 3 days, the results showed a decrease in blood pressure and an increase in knowledge related to the management of hypertension. The application of massage on the earlobe (Auriculotherapy) is effective in lowering blood pressure.
