Abstract
Hemorrhagic stroke is a condition caused by the rupture of blood vessels in the brain, often leading to complications such as an increased risk of falls. Family involvement in patient care is essential to prevent this risk. This study aimed to describe family involvement in fall prevention efforts for stroke patients at Bina Sehat Hospital Jember. The method used was a descriptive non-analytic study with a case study approach on families of stroke patients at risk of falling. Data were collected through interviews and observations using an observation sheet and the Morse Fall Scale. The results showed that families actively accompanied patients, assisted with mobilization, ensured a safe environment, and participated in health worker education sessions. However, family understanding needs to be strengthened to prepare them for independent care at home. Family involvement plays a crucial role in preventing falls. Continuous education and effective communication between healthcare workers and families can enhance patient safety.
