HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL, EFIKASI DIRI DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP STRESS PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TOBOALI KABUPATEN BANGKA SELATAN TAHUN 2024

Abstract

Menurut World Health Organization (2021), hampir satu dari dua orang dewasa berusia 20-79 tahun dengan diabetes tidak mengetahui status diabetesnya (44,7%) atau sebanyak 239,7 juta orang. Proporsi tertinggi dari diabetes yang tidak terdiagnosis (53,6%) ditemukan di wilayah Afrika, Pasifik Barat (52,8%) dan Asia Tenggara (51,3%), sementara data Riset Kesehatan Dasar (2018) terus terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Tahun 2013 data penderita Diabetes Melitus usia ≥ 15 tahun mencapai 1,5% dan ditahun 2018 mengalami kenaikan hingga 2%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat Hubungan Kecerdasan Spiritual, Efikasi Diri dan Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Stres Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Toboali Kabupaten Bangka Selatan Tahun 2024. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasien yang mengalami Diabetes Melitus Tipe II yang berobat ke Puskesmas Toboali. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 92 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan ada Hubungan Kecerdasan Spiritual (P = 0,000), Efikasi Diri (P = 0,000) dan Dukungan Keluarga (P = 0,000) Terhadap Stres Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Toboali Kabupaten Bangka Selatan Tahun 2024. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah perlunya puskesmas melakukan penyuluhan pentingnya kecerdasan spiritual, efikasi diri dan dukungan keluarga untuk mengurangi stres penderita DM Tipe II. Abstract

          According to the World Health Organization (2021), almost one in two adults 20-79 years old with diabetes were unaware of their diabetes status (44.7%) 239.7 million people. The highest proportion of undiagnosed diabetes (53.6%) was found in the African region, the Western Pacific (52.8%), and Southeast Asia (51.3%), while data from the Basic Health Research (2018) showed a significant increase over the past five years. In 2013, the percentage of people with Diabetes Mellitus aged ≥ 15 years was 1.5% and increased to 2% in 2018. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between spiritual intelligence, self-efficacy, and family support on stress levels of type II diabetes patients in the working area of Toboali Health Center, South Bangka Regency in 2024. The design used in this study was a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all patients with type II diabetes mellitus who received treatment at Toboali Health Center. The sample in this study amounted to 92 people, using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Chi Square test. The research findings showed that there is a correlation between Spiritual Intelligence (P = 0.000), Self-Efficacy (P = 0.000), and Family Support (P = 0.000) towards the stress of Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients in the working area of Puskesmas Toboali, South Bangka Regency in 2024. The recommendation in this research is the need for health clinics to provide education on the importance of spiritual intelligence, self-efficacy, and family support to reduce stress among Type II DM patients.
