PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN SEMANGAT KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA CV. AHASS SUBUR JAYA CIPEDES KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract
Human resources play a vital role within an organization, particularly in efforts to enhance employee performance by optimizing individual potential through a range of strategic initiatives. This research aims to examine both the simultaneous and individual effects of Competence and Work Motivation on the performance of employees at Subur Jaya. The study adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sampling technique applied is a saturated sampling method, where the entire population—consisting of 40 employees from CV. Ahass Subur Jaya Cipedes, located in Tasikmalaya City—participated as respondents. The primary data for this study were collected through the distribution of questionnaires. To assess the quality and accuracy of the data, the research employed tests for validity, reliability, and classical assumptions. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software version 25. Data collection methods included literature review, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that Competence and Work Motivation together have a statistically significant influence on employee performance. Furthermore, when examined individually, both Competence and Work Motivation also show a significant positive effect on employee performance.
