Abstract
This article reviews about of internalizing moral values in shaping the awareness of the younger generation towards the dangers of drugs through an Islamic education approach. Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious threat that not only impacts physical health aspects, but also damages moral and spiritual order. Islamic education plays a strategic role in instilling moral values through an internalization process that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This paper examines the concept of internalizing moral values, its urgency in the context of the dangers of drugs, and the role of Islamic education in implementing value-based learning strategies. This article also identifies challenges in the internalization process and offers systematic solutions through synergy between educational institutions, families, and communities. The results of the study indicate that internalizing moral values in a structured manner can be a strong foundation for the younger generation to reject drug abuse and build spiritual resilience.
