Abstract
Hallucinations that are not handled properly can pose a risk to the safety of the patient himself, others and also the patient's environment. One therapy that can be done on hallucination patients is Tie-Dye Art Therapy. Tie Dye Art Therapy helps balance their sensory experiences and reduce the tension that arises due to hallucinatory experiences. The purpose of this study is to explain Evidence Based Practice as a therapy for patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations. The implementation method used is a case study. The subjects in this application were two hallucination patients in the Sebayang Room, Tampan Mental Hospital, Riau Province. The implementation time was carried out for 4 days of treatment, the administration time was 30 minutes each day. The first day to assess the pretest, the second to third days for the implementation of tie-dye art therapy, and the fourth day to assess the results of the posttest. This application uses a checklist of signs and symptoms of hallucinations using the PSYRATS Questionnaire - Auditory Hallucination Scale. The results of this application can be known before the application of tie dye art therapy to patient Mr. D with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations, a score of signs and symptoms was obtained, namely 32 (severe symptoms), after the application of tie dye art therapy, a score of signs and symptoms was obtained, namely 13 (mild symptoms). In Mr. I before the application of tie dye art therapy with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations, a score of signs and symptoms was obtained, namely 30 (moderate symptoms), after the application of tie dye art therapy, a score of signs and symptoms was obtained, namely 10 (mild symptoms).
