PEMBERIAN TERAPI AUDIO VISUAL (VIDEO KARTUN) UNTUK MENURUNKAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN ANAK PRA SEKOLAH SAAT HOSPITALISASI

Abstract

Hospitalization conditions require children to adapt to a new environment for them. The majority of children who experience excessive responses during hospitalization are preschoolers or 3-6 years old. to determine the provision of audio-visual therapy (cartoon videos) to reduce the level of anxiety in preschool children during hospitalization. The method or design of writing this paper uses a case report or case study. The subjects of this study were 2 patients with a nursing diagnosis of anxiety in the children's room of Arifin Ahmad Hospital. This nursing care was carried out on two patients with a nursing diagnosis of anxiety in the children's room of Arifin Ahmad Hospital. The implementation carried out on patients with anxiety related to hospitalization was to carry out relaxation techniques with audio-visual distraction techniques (cartoons) for 3 days. Evaluation of the actions that had been taken on clients with nursing problems of anxiety related to hospitalization was that both clients did not experience anxiety while in the hospital. Nursing care with the implementation of audio-visual distraction techniques (watching cartoons) can reduce hospitalization anxiety in preschool children.
