Abstract
In modern life, efforts to maintain health are not only carried out through medical approaches but also through spiritual activities that contribute to physical and mental balance. One religious practice that holds such potential is shalat (Islamic prayer). Shalat, as a fundamental act of worship in Islam, incorporates physical movements and inner tranquility performed regularly. This study aims to examine shalat as a means of maintaining physical health through a literature review approach. Based on the analysis of various scientific journals and holistic health theories, it was found that the performance of shalat offers benefits for muscle flexibility, postural stability, blood circulation regulation, as well as stress and emotional control. Thus, shalat can be viewed as a preventive and promotive effort in improving the overall health quality of Muslims.
