Abstract
This report examines the role of hipsters in startup GoParttime, which aims to connect freelancers with employers through a digital platform. The study highlights the importance of digital technology in changing work dynamics and creating flexible work opportunities, especially for young people in Indonesia. The study discusses the challenges faced by freelancers in finding a reliable platform and the innovative solutions offered by GoParttime, which emerged from the National Movement of 1000 Digital Startups initiative. The report emphasizes the importance of hipsters in design, branding, and user experience, linking them to communication theories such as Laswell‟s 5W Model Theory and Diffusion of Innovation. The findings suggest that a balanced team of hard workers, hipsters, and hackers is crucial to the success of startups. The report concludes with recommendations for future founders and the startup ecosystem, emphasizing the need for clear communication and effective mentorship.
