Abstract
Sleep disturbances are a common problem experienced by pregnant women in the third trimester due to the physiological and psychological changes during pregnancy. Untreated sleep disturbances can impact the mother's quality of life, increase the risk of pregnancy complications, and impair fetal well-being. One effective non-pharmacological intervention to improve sleep quality is pregnancy yoga.. The purpose of this Nursing Care is to provide Nursing Care for Pregnant Women with the Application of Pregnancy Yoga to Overcome Sleep Disorders at the Melur Pekanbaru Community Health Center. The method of implementing this Nursing Care is a case study. This Nursing Care uses an assessment format and sleep quality instruments using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The implementation of pregnancy yoga was carried out for 3 days with alternating times of 45 minutes with 2 patients who experienced sleep quality problems at the Melur Pekanbaru Community Health Center. The results of the implementation of the first day in the first patient, this implementation has not been resolved before carrying out the pregnancy yoga action with a PSQI scale of 12, after the implementation of pregnancy yoga it becomes 10, the third day it has not been resolved before carrying out the pregnancy yoga action with a PSQI scale of 8, after the implementation of pregnancy yoga it becomes 5, while the implementation of the first day in the second patient, this implementation has not been resolved before carrying out the pregnancy yoga action with a PSQI scale of 11, after the implementation of pregnancy yoga it becomes 10, the third day it has not been resolved before carrying out the pregnancy yoga action with a PSQI scale of 7, after the implementation of pregnancy yoga it becomes 5, The results of these findings indicate that pregnancy yoga is effective in improving sleep quality in pregnant women in the third trimester and the problem of sleep pattern disorders has not been resolved because the total sleep hours of the first patient are 6 hours and the second patient is 5 hours. So it can be concluded that this therapy is very effective in improving sleep quality in pregnant women and intervention can be recommended as a complementary therapy in maternity nursing care.
