PENERAPAN MEDIA BOOKLET DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT PADA PASIEN IGD DI RUMAH SAKIT LANCANG KUNING PEKANBARU

Abstract

Nurses' Caring Behavior in Hospitals provides quality care according to patient needs and desires while adhering to the professional code of ethics and applicable standards. Nurses are a key component and play a vital role in the hospital healthcare system. The intervention was implemented with emergency room nurses at Lancing Kuning Hospital, using a case study method. The success of the intervention was measured before and after implementation education using a Nurse Caring Behavior booklet. The intervention was conducted over three days with two nurses, using education using a booklet and an observation sheet format. The case study results showed that Nurse 1 implemented and explained Caring Behavior to patients according to operational standards. Nurse 2 demonstrated that nurses implemented Caring Behavior optimally, addressing physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. The evaluation results indicated that the implementation education using a Nurse Caring Behavior booklet for Emergency Room patients at Lancing Kuning Hospital, Pekanbaru was optimal.
