PENERAPAN TERAPI MUROTAL SURAT ARRAHMAN PADA PASIEN DENGAN NYERI AKUT PASCABEDAH DI RUANGAN DAHLIA

Abstract

Pain after surgery will cause physiological and psychological reactions such as increased pulse, blood pressure, changes in breathing, impaired physical mobility, laziness in activities, sleep disturbances, and loss of appetite. One effective distraction method is audio therapy or hearing, namely by listening to murottal recitations of the Qur'an. One of the surahs of the Qur'an used in murottal therapy is surah Ar Rahman which means The Most Gracious is the 55th surah in the Qur'an consisting of 78 verses. This surah is a surah of compassion that has a short verse character so that this verse is comfortable to listen to and enjoy which will have a relaxing effect on the listener or layperson. The purpose of this application is to reduce pain in post-surgical patients. The sample of this study was 2 patients who experienced acute post-surgical pain as many as 2 people with moderate pain scale criteria which was carried out once a day for 3 days. The implementation method used was a case study. The study was conducted on April 29, 30, and May 2, 2025. The results showed that after the Ar-Rahman surah therapy, there was a decrease in pain with a moderate pain scale in both post-surgical patients with a medical diagnosis of burns + post-op debridement in the dahlia room of Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru Regional Hospital. It is recommended that Ar-Rahman surah therapy be used as one method in healing or reducing pain in post-surgical burn patients.
