Abstract
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the extent to which written tests and effective skills are used as assessment tools in evaluating the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history in class XB MA Miftahul Ulum Pagendingan Pamekasan. The research adopts an experimental method with a qualitative approach, involving 25 students. Written tests and student presentation skills as media for evaluating learning outcomes on the material of the establishment of the Abbasid Caliphate provide a comprehensive overview of students' mastery of the material and their presentation of Islamic cultural history. The majority of students showed good learning results, both in terms of knowledge and skills. Through a combined approach of written tests and skill assessments, the learning of Islamic cultural history in class XB has had a positive impact on student achievement in both cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The majority of students demonstrate a good level of understanding of Islamic cultural history, as reflected in the average written test score of 85, with most students falling into the good category. The skill assessment shows that students not only understand Islamic values conceptually but also begin to communicate well during presentations in front of the class. The average skill score of 85 reflects the success of a learning approach that focuses not only on knowledge but also on the development of students' skills.
