Abstract
This research aims to examine the effectiveness of PBL as an evaluation medium in Islamic Education learning for 11th-grade students at SMAI Plus Nurul Karomah. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through evaluation test instruments designed according to the characteristics of PBL and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that the use of PBL as an evaluation medium significantly improves the achievement of Islamic Education learning outcomes and student engagement in the evaluation process. These findings indicate that PBL is effective as an evaluation medium in Islamic Education learning, which not only assesses learning outcomes but also critical thinking processes and the application of religious values. Therefore, it is recommended that Islamic Education educators adopt the PBL model in learning evaluations to support the holistic development of students' abilities.
