Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the ability of students in mastering vocabulary after the test exam from the experimental and control classes? Is there an influence of the use of Strip Story learning media on students' ability in mastering vocabulary in grade IV at Madrash Ibtidaiyyah Ar-raudhoh Bagan Batu Riau?. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Strip Story learning media on the ability to master vocabulary in grade IV at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Ar-raudhoh Bagan Batu Riau and to know the ability of students in mastering vocabulary after the test exam from the experimental and control classes. The research method used is a true experimental design with a posttest-only control design and the data analysis method used is statistics and the use of the SPSS 16 application. And the results obtained from the study are the average value of those who use learning media is 83.15 and the average value of students who do not use learning media is 44.00. And finally that Strip Story learning media in vocabulary mastery has a big influence. This media is suitable for helping students repeat vocabulary and practice vocabulary mastery.
