Abstract

This article discusses the thought of Hasan Hanafi, a contemporary Egyptian philosopher and theologian renowned for his efforts to reconstruct Islamic thought through modern philosophical approaches. Hasan Hanafi employs dialectical, phenomenological, and hermeneutical methods to reinterpret theological proofs in the Qur'an and Sunnah, aiming to develop a theology that is not only theocentric but also anthropocentric.
